Revelation 21:18, 19, 21: The wall of the city was of jasper : and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. Luke 14:14: You shall be recompensed (repaid) at the resurrection of the just. At that time, everything in the believers life will be reviewed. ![]() This verse says every believer will appear, or be manifested, before the Lord. We will give an account at The Judgment Seat of Christ for what we have done with this gift, His Son. ![]() God gave His only Son who was given at great cost to make salvation and fruitfulness possible for everyone. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men but we are made manifest to God and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. For we must all appear before The Judgment Seat of Christ that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad. These things done in our body are not a sin issue, it is the opportunities we have to do things for the Lord, or not do what we should, while we are in our body.Ģ Corinthians 5:9-11: Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him. For we must all appear before Christ, and will receive the things done in our body, whether it be good or bad. In Corinthians Paul said we labor, to the point of sheer exhaustion, we labor that whether we are at home or somewhere else, if we are around people who know us or people who do not know us, that we may be accepted of Christ. Every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Romans 14:10 & 12: Why do you judge your brother? For we shall all stand before The Judgment Seat of Christ. Every Christian should read the entire Chapter closely. Romans 14 deals with how Christians should live with each other and not be judging one another when we are all going to have to stand before The Judgment Seat and give an accounting to God. Revelation 3:21: To him that overcomes, will I grant to sit with Me in My Throne. for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness. Isaiah 61:10 : I will greatly rejoice in the LORD. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments (of righteousness), lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Revelation 16:15: Behold, I come as a thief. If a man (Christian) purge himself from these (depart from iniquity), he shall be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and meet for the Master's use, and prepared for every good work.Ģ Timothy 2:4: No man (Christian) entangles himself (gets tied up) with the affairs of this life so that he may please Him who has chosen him to be a soldier. 1 John 2:28: And now, little children, abide in Him that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at His Coming.Ģ Timothy 2:20-21 : In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth and some are for honor (noble purposes), and some for dishonor (lowly use or basic service).
